I had the opportunity to send some supplies home at the beginning of the "Stay at home" order and I was amazed by how parents and children were using them. Unfortunately, after all this time, those supplies are almost gone and with the economic uncertainty for most of my student's families, buying these types of materials is not a priority. By having all the necessary supplies to do arts and crafts, my students will let their creativity flow while developing their fine motor skills. Elements, such as clay, will allow them to strengthen their little hand muscles necessary to have a good grip on writing utensils. Color paint, markers and crayons will give them enough practice for their three-point grip. The collage box, filled with a great variety of materials, will allow them to explore, textures, shapes, etc. and will spark their creativity by creating different art projects using those materials.
