I have an amazing group of second graders who learn best when they have something hands-on to manipulate. With these building sets, my student will be learning to work through challenges with a growth mindset attitude in a way that feels like play. Supplies such as the K'Nex kits and LEGO sets will be used to provide opportunity for students to develop self-sufficiency, collaborative practices, and project endurance.. It is my goal to encourage my students creativity and problem-solving this year by providing Genius Hour activities that will allow them to explore and create in a low risk, engaging setting.

About my class
