I teach my first graders a science curriculum in our classroom. I use science discovery units. Our first lesson is with Force in Motion. The requested Safety Goggles, Megalen's Magnifying Glass, magnets, and Marine Sand will be used in Science discovery units and projects my students perform in class. STEM lessons engage my students and guide them through the scientific method and improve their problem solving skills.Using the magnifying glasses and other resources from this project, my students will be able to view and solve real world problems that engage and encourage a research based approach with multiple learning experiences. My students will be designing creative models, and testing solutions. I need the materials from this project to engage my students and encourage them to pursue careers in the area of science and math.
