As a fourth grade teacher, my students learn about the different genres in literature. To gain more extensive knowledge about biographies, my students will go to the library to research a person they are interested in learning about. They will then use recycled 2 liter bottles or water bottles to create the person they chose. They will create a poster along with their biography buddy and present it to the class, therefore, having everyone share and learn interesting facts about someone they didn’t know about before. Students will use paint, glue, and other supplies to decorate their posters and bottles.
