My Kindergartners will be using these items everyday during our Daily 5 rotation. The sand trays will be used in a writing station to build writing skills. The students will use the tray to form letters, numbers, and words. Sand trays are a fun way to practice and it will give the students a tactile way to write. The rocker chairs will be used in our one of the reading stations. Students will use the chairs to practice their reading skills. By reading to themselves everyday we are building our reading skills, becoming more fluent readers, and becoming lifelong readers.
