The materials on my list will continue to help students in the classroom to be comfortable and engaged in class. A lot of the materials we copy for work are black and white. I’ve found that adding color even in organization helps increase motivation. The desk chairs covers will limit the screeching, distracting noises of students moving around the classroom, which will benefit the students with focus and auditory sensory issues. The digital clock will assist my students in learning to tell time both with analog and digital clocks, and will help them keep track of the date and day of the month. The supplies on the list are for continued organization and implementation of color to make our classroom engaging and inviting. And, of course, what classroom with literacy as a goal doesn’t need a plethora of interesting readers for students to choose from?
