These lap desks will help continue to improve the 21st-century learning that focuses on different learning styles that I try to nurture in my classroom. For example, at the beginning of the year, I have my students access their personal learning style, and some students find that they learn better in different seating positions (i.e. at a round table, standing up, on the floor, etc). These lap desks will accommodate those students who are more engaged in learning by sitting on the floor by allowing them to do so while also giving them a hard surface to write on!
