Working with very young students requires an exceptional amount of creativity. My students are not only young, but also very active and often have a difficult time sitting at a table for a full speech therapy session. Having a nice classroom carpet will allow us to utilize floor space for our work and get away from the table. The carpet space will enable us to be able to spread out and not have to sit on a cold tile floor. The cube chairs are helpful for little ones who need a space to help them focus on what they are working on while they are on the carpet. A classroom carpet and cube chairs will help students have a learning space away from the typical table and chair seating and let them move and spread out a bit more. A carpet is a great space for a variety of work tasks, story time, and pretend play.
