Middle school students spend most of their class day sitting in desks. When they walk in our seventh grade classroom they will spend the hour engaged in problem-solving activities in a math team of four students. Often when students have a change of seating, it can help them concentrate more. I want to give my students a choice in seating so they are ready to learn and participate with their math teammates. I am hoping to add a set of four yoga ball chairs and a set of four stools. This will allow students that need a change in seating to be fully engaged with their teammates and be ready to start learning!
