I teach an elective class and I'd like to make electives fun and easy. While teaching my students life skills, I love to give students the opportunity to learn in a different manner than they do all day. More hands-on and less "let's memorize." One of the objectives of this class is to teach students a skill and having a finished product at the end of the year where students can see a project through from scratch is the best motivation there is. Let's give these students the push they need to be successful in life. At the end of this class students will have sewn something useful that they will keep as a memorandum and a reminder of what they learned. Let's help at least one student realize the potential they possess and watch them blossom into the unimaginable.
