I want my students to work outside the conventional idea of paper and pencil for taking notes. I want my kids to create work in my class that stands out and attracts the eye. I want posters in the classroom that help my kids created that speak about an event or moment in History. Too often, history class is called boring and old, I want to be able to used the easel pad and markers to allow the kids to put up their work all over the room and see history come alive. Most students don't have the other basic necessities for class such as pencils and pens, I want to be able to provide a bin where they can take whatever they want without the need to ask for permission.
