Learning environments have such a drastic effect on student learning. By providing a warm, welcoming environment with comfortable seating, snacks, and encouraging signage we are increasing my students chances of learning and igniting their love of learning in preparation for college. Home is where the heart is; let's help make their classroom like home and capture these kids' love for learning. The more comfortable one feels, the easier it is to learn. Our relationships will be built throughout the year, but you can help foster this welcoming environment by helping to make our room spectacular. This atmosphere will also prepare my students for learning in a laid back, college like setting. Let's help them prepare for college one year earlier!
