I am asking for an iPad for my kindergarteners. For most of my students this is their first year in school. They have not had the chance to be around computers or iPads. Our students come from a low income household, and some have not yet been able to learn phonics. Having an iPad in the classroom it will give my students a chance to be able to use the phonics based app called Lexia. This app is used for interventions. The iPad will also help students create art projects, and other interactive activities. My students should be able to have access to technology. I only have three desk tops for 33 students but receiving a iPad will help my students learn more about technology.
