These books will help enhance my classroom library by giving students more choice in the books they read. My students love reading but need access to many different types of books to help them reach their literacy goals. Picture books are the most important form of literacy that we have. They help children fall in love with reading, which will build a foundation for them to become lifelong readers. These books appeal to more learning styles more than any other format. Adding these books to my classroom library will give my students the opportunity to enhance their learning through both independent reading and literacy skills.
