As we are finishing quarter 3 and quickly approaching quarter 4, testing is on everyone's mind. While my goal is for the students to learn the concepts well and apply them on the state tests, I want them to genuinely fall in love with the science and have fun while learning concepts. Struggling students will learn a difficult concept because games are a safe and fun way to learn with their peers; thus by donating to this project you are not only enhancing their academic ability but also their focus and attention in class and allowing us to build a positive classroom culture. Getting students to see that struggle is not necessarily bad and that they can learn a hard concept will breakaway their notion that they are not good at science. They will enjoy playing these games in class.
