To maximize students' attention and comfort, we are requesting some colorful stools. Sitting on a stool allows for better posture and less distractions. The stools can easily be moved to accommodate small group circles or partner work. In addition, the stools open to allow for storage of instructional materials such as books, word cards, word games and dry erase supplies! The 10 drawer rolling cart will be filled with copies of that days resources, such as extra copies, highlighters, math manipulative, and supplies that will be need throughout the day. The pocket charts can help us read words to songs, high-interest poems, and sentences written which include their names on the sentence strips in the pocket charts. Activities like those are wonderful ways to motivate children to want to read more. The alphabet cards, blocks and sight word game will be be used in our daily center activities.
