With these books, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders will be able to participate in book clubs. They'll meet multiple times per week to engage in rich discussion, building their comprehension skills and love of reading. Students will build their shared experiences, connect their individual experiences, and develop their abilities to think critically and compassionately. Exploring these books will provide opportunities for interaction, collaboration, inquiry, and joy- all the components necessary to thrive in a virtual classroom! But it only works if every student has access to their own copy of the book. Your support will allow us to buy multiple copies of high quality, engaging texts from diverse perspectives. These are books we know our students will enjoy! The books will become part of our book room and available for teachers to use in book clubs and small groups for years to come.
