In order to prepare our students for the 21st century, teaching technology is one of the most important things to the students success. In a film and theatre class, technological equipment for lighting and sound, and sewing machines to construct costumes are commonly used by students as they learn the processes of putting on a play. In Film, camcorders are needed for film production. My students have no camcorders to use for their film production class. Most of the students use their phones to shoot their film projects; however, some students do not have phones. The camcorders can be used by Theatre students as well.
