First and foremost, my goal is to ensure that my learners have a rewarding learning experience. I have selected materials that are colorful, eye-catching and unique as well as rooted in standards-based instruction. These literacy materials will provide differentiated learning and provide my groovy first graders with rich and active hands-on opportunities that will challenge, excite and engage my students to take control and master their learning. First grade is a foundational year which is integral to lifelong reading success. Multiple learning and practice options for my scholars will keep them engaged and motivated each day.
