Having math manipulatives will really help drive home concepts because not only are they able to visually see on the board but they learn about it with their hands! Which really solidifies their learning. Manipulatives make math more exciting and fun but also more ingrained in their heads because they are able to use real-life objects to connect with their learning. The organizers will be a great way for students to have an organized way to return and receive assignments, projects, tests, etc. Books, of course, always add joy in the classroom. I have several students ask me if I have a book about sharks and I always feel bad about saying no because I know they love them. The I-Spy books or the Where's Waldo? Books are always a joy to have in the class because it uses children's detective skills to find that one item or person they are looking for. I cannot wait for my students to see what new books will be in their library! Also, I can't for them to be the scientist for the day with a lab coat and goggles! I would very much appreciate the gift of these items in my classroom and I know the kids will LOVE them too!
