During literacy centers, students get the opportunity to visit different learning centers. Our classroom library is beautiful, however, students sit on pillows on the floor. It would be amazing for students to have a comfortable little sofa to relax and pick up their favorite book and enjoy reading. By donating to our project, you’re giving my students a place to read a book, make a personal connection, and a space to work on their reading response. An area of our room with be designated to our new reading nook that all students will be able to use and enjoy. Although we are blessed with an abundance of books, you’re giving our students a library nook that our school and myself are unable to give on our own.
