By allowing students to move they are able to focus on academic skills rather than focusing on how to sit still. Standard chairs force student to stay in one position and don't allow them to move. Wobble stools will not only allow my students to focus on work but they will also help my students overall posture. Rather than sitting in a static chair my students will be exercising their back muscles while working on classwork when using a wobble stool. The stools will be used during both reading and math centers. Students work with me every day during reading and math. Every student in my room will have access to these stools twice a day, for a total of at least 40 minutes every school day.
