A goal of first grade is building reading stamina in students. When students are comfortable, they will read more. I want to offer flexible seating to my students during reading time to promote more reading. During this period, I can meet with students individually or in small groups to specifically tailor instruction to meet each child's individual learning needs. The Flex Space Comfy Floor Seats will provide a longer time without interruption for me to work with students individually. Every student deserves the undivided attention of their teacher! When other students are comfortable and engaged, it provides more time for me to devote to small groups, pairs, and individual students.
