These books will be used in small group instruction and for independent reading practice. My young readers are far below grade level, and materials at their reading level are not inspiring. Holding a captivating book is the best motivation for learning to read. The suspense of a mystery or the wonder of fairies will catch my students' attention and reward the struggle of figuring out all those words! With your help, we will all look forward to reading group time and reading that next chapter. We will learn to read in worlds my children love.
