These materials will give my students opportunities in the athletic learning space and academic learning space in higher education. Getting students active helps to tackle obesity – but it can also improve achievement and behavior. I believe that students that are involved in any kind of sports will give them a physical activity to improve their brain function. Sport can really help students to feel like part of a team. That may sound really obvious, but it is missing from a lot of our young people’s lives. Sports can also be an opportunity to develop resilience and independent learning skills.
