I am looking to increase our library in the music room. We currently do not have engaging literature students to use when they are here. I would like to read students a book each week, highlighting an artist, or a part of our music curriculum. In my cart, I have book about different musical instruments and books that teach musical vocabulary. Also, we put on a Hispanic Heritage Celebration, and a Black History Month Performance each year. I would like to have books that support these content areas and highlight incredible musicians from the Hispanic and African American community. These would include books about Jazz musicians, and a folk song book of Latin-American songs for children.
