Teaching math can be difficult keeping the student's attention. However, by giving them different materials to practice with will keep them motivated to keep on learning and applying those skills learned in different situations. Using dry-erase boards always keeps students engaged in the material being taught and reinforced so they can practice in a fun way. Students are always writing on paper with a pencil so mixing up the materials is very important in my math class. Also, students use earbuds in my classroom to either block everyone else out or plug them into a Chromebook to complete different lessons. Not everyone is able to bring these in, so by me being able to give them out helps with keeping the lesson going. Also, they don't feel left out and can still complete the work.
