This donation would give students who may not have basic school supplies access to them. Students come from various backgrounds and have multiple needs throughout their school day. As a school counselor, this is one way I can support them and help to remove barriers they may face due to financial hardship. Being able to provide students with these essential school supplies allows them to be prepared for class, removes the stress of not having their expected school supplies, and helps set them up for success by removing financial barriers.
