Hi! I'm Caitlin Anderson, a Pediatric Occupational Therapist! I work with students to help them be able to do educationally relevant skills- things that they need to be able to do to succeed at school. This could be providing OT services to help improve fine motor skills to be able to use scissors to cut to complete a cut and paste activity or it could be improving visual scanning and perceptual skills to be able to write work that is legible. I have trained many of our teachers on tips and tricks to facilitate good fine motor and visual motor skills , provided ideas for adaptions and ways to accommodate students, and provided insight into improving skill deficits. The projects I create allow our students to have access to developmentally appropriate activities, sensory materials, and adaptive tools that help them to succeed!
