Our district has adopted a new edition of textbooks, for 3rd-5th grades our text is now all digital. We are not a 1:1 campus and I would love to utilize the resources provided to help grow, enrich, and expand the educational experience for my students in my classroom. Chromebooks or laptops for 25 students would run about $500 a piece for a class set. With this grant, we could utilize the technology provided and the full spectrum of resources provided by HMH our new textbook adoption. The iRead feature with the online textbooks through HMH will help to bridge gaps in literacy. Long term bridging of literacy gaps will improve overall graduation rates across the board. Thank you for your consideration in helping bridge gaps in learning and utilizing technology in the classroom.
