Document cameras are amazing. They are great tools for teachers. It will allow me to take an individual assignment and turn it into a group assignment, creating more interaction and maintaining students attention. The document camera will give my student a chance to see the same paper as we work together on the whiteboard. My classroom does not have a smart board. This will give them a great visual to help them learn. The 10 frame will be perfect. They will engage my students and provide them an understanding of base-ten number concepts as we work together to help them understand addition and subtraction more clearly. Ten frames will also help with one to one correspondence, place value, number patterns, operation and more. They will be used daily with my students. It will give them manipulatives to help them stay focus and learn the math concepts.
