I am a first year teacher, working in a title one school. I am hoping to be able to start this year off giving the students that I have been blessed with this year the best possible start. I want to give them my all. I have set up my classroom and I am needing a few basics and necessities to finish off the environment in my classroom that I have worked to create. I have worked hard to create engaging lessons that students can access on their chrome books through pear deck and other resources that technology brings. The students in my classroom will also be exposed to new technology standards throughout the year that I will be required to teach. The students have been provided with chrome books to help further their learning and provide resources for teaching technology standards including typing. While students are using these resources there will be many times that students will need headphones to maintain a good learning environment. My students receiving these headphones will give them the final touch to their ability to access their technology while maintaining this environment. I am also hoping to add to privacy to their testing environment through the use of privacy folders as the students are testing in the classroom. The classroom is located in a trailer with limited space for them to have the privacy needed during these testing times. My students are also participating in differentiated small group lessons each day to further each students' learning on an individual level. These centers include packets and a weekly test that go along with whole group instruction that need to be stapled each week. The staples will greatly benefit and help us in this daily endeavor that I am on to bring this instruction to them.
