If fully funded, my students will have access to materials they would not have access to otherwise. Art enriches the course material in every core subject (math, science, history, English). Limiting the supplies they have access to only limits what they are capable of. The supplies I have asked for will be used in almost every lesson to reach the maximum understanding of the material presented. It is my hope that this project will allow students to express themselves in a new way. Emotional intelligence can begin to be taught in schools in even the youngest students. They can explore this through the art they produce.
