Our students have entered high school only having a year and a half experience in Middle grades. Covid-19 took a toll on our community. Now we are striving to combat the deficiencies and rise in Literacy. Do you remember getting hooked on a series of books as a child? Think of the anticipation and excitement you felt waiting for and then finally reading the prized next installment in your favorite series. My students share that excitement and joy of waiting for and then finally devouring the newest books in their favorite series. My students are inquisitive, voracious readers who are craving to discover the newest adventures in their favorite book series. The resources listed will help ensure my students have their needs met to increase reading fluency and writing skills which are lifelong utensils. The printer will allow me to print immediate extended activities as necessary for the content that may be a little more rigorous.
