The books that I have requested for my students will help to increase their reading skills. These books are different levels to give each individual student a better chance of growth in reading. I have also requested a book that I will read aloud because everyone enjoys fun stories that also teach a lesson. This story will help students understand the importance of their actions. They will learn how one action may not have a huge impact on the world, but when lots of people do the same thing, then the impact can be huge. The lamination machine and pouches will give students a chance to display their work. It will let them be proud of their accomplishments. The pens are for the students to use for marking up words in reading and spelling. This will help them remember the spelling patterns so they will become better spellers. By donating to this project, you will be helping to improve student performance in reading and spelling, which will give them the confidence needed to succeed. I have seen how much growth students can make when given supplies they need. I cannot wait to see these students make great growth this year.
