When we think of board games we often think of "Family Game Nights", with families laughing and bonding. Let's bring this positive experience into the classroom. Board games can offer mind-enriching opportunities that encouraging students to build better social skills, and self-esteem. Board games teach students about rules, competition, fair play, and value. These games will be used during advisement class to help build relationships and encourage better communication skills. Many of the games chosen will help with reading, spelling, grammar, and other areas of academics and creativity. These board games will help students inside and outside of the classroom, providing students face-to-face interaction. This positive game time will encourage them to stay off their screens when they are together off campus. Please consider helping these student build positive relationships, be creative, and build self-esteem through the use "Classroom Game Time".
