Students will be able to take books home to read with their families. They will feel successful reading to their families in English. Practicing reading at home forms a positive habit for them for the rest of their lives. Most of them have younger siblings to read stories to. This is one of the ways that they can practice their new language. Their brain needs to be exercised in the reading portion and these books will provide that part. They will feel they can accomplish reading in English and this sets them to continue a love for reading and learning.

About my class
