The materials and resources requested in this project will help increase the creativity of the students utilizing a variety of games and activities. The equipment will provide opportunities to increase activity while also allowing me to create lessons with STEM connections. My classes are large in number and adding equipment is crucial. Our curriculum and state standards require students to be actively involved in movement experiences learning to move safely, learn eye-hand coordination and develop motor-skills. The equipment will provide opportunities to increase activity while also allowing me to create lessons with STEM connections. Students will develop skills in sequencing and patterns through movement activities which directly relates to basic of coding. Imagine the excitement of my students when new equipment begins arriving in our gym!
