Like curriculum, classroom settings need to adapt for today's learners. Students are moving more. Students are speaking more. Students are creating more. And because of that, the classroom set up needs to reflect this change in student learning. Collaborative seating for the 21st century high school student! These supplies would help turn my classroom into a creative and collaborative space where students can learn and practice 21st century skills before going out into the real world. Ultimately, I would like my English Language Arts classroom to become a maker space for my students, a place where students can challenge one another and discover together.
