Our Rural Title I school does not have the funds to purchase an educational rug and a small group instruction table for my classroom. These items will help me create a positive student friendly learning environment. A comfortable carpet to sit on and enjoy a good book makes reading fun. A small group table will allow me to provide differentiated instruction to meet all my students needs. Having these designated areas helps me better manage my classroom and provides structure for the children. Reading is such an important subject at the 2nd grade level so the more I can do to help my students become successful readers the better I feel as an educator.

About my class
