All of my students are active, growing fifth graders who love to learn. Their brains are fast-paced and many of my students are always on the move. Flexible seating allows them to take charge of their learning and make choices that will be best for them. The flexible seating options I asked for in this project will not only benefit the student's concentration but also teach them skills surrounding making decisions that will benefit them (an important life skill). My students are substantially more engaged when they have the opportunity to partake in flexible seating. This also means we can accomplish more in the school day and further accelerate my students' education. Flexible seating would greatly benefit my wonderful class of fifth graders.
