I would like to get these auto-darkening helmets for students to use in the welding lab. These are industry level helmets that students would use if they go into the welding field, which several of my graduates have done. These will helmets will be used to reinforce online virtual instruction that has been due to Covid-19. Not being able to have hands on instruction for my students has not been good for them. Most of my students get great reinforcement from hands-on instruction. One unique thing about being in the welding lab is it's affect on decreasing absenteeism. Students will make sure they show up for class if they know they are going to get to weld.
