These books will be used to enhance the authentic reading experience! I will use these novels as class read-aloud and what each student to be able to have a book. Every student book that is placed in my library will be utilized to the fullest through whole class, small group, and independent practices. I’ve selected these titles with my students in mind. My goal is to create life-long readers and I believe these books will be enjoyed by all of my students! The Crossover, A Long Walk to Water, and The Boy in the Striped Pajamas are novels that will engage my students with stories of diversity, determination, and tolerance.
