We are requesting three Chromebooks which would be vital to my students success. Every year my students do research projects about animals, states, famous African Americans for Black History Month, and many more. They also look up definitions for their weekly spelling words, the definitions help my students retain the word and help with comprehension. Students would also use the Chromebooks to listen to their assigned story from their classroom. With only three sometimes working computers it is very difficult to accommodate 25 students. The Chromebooks would allow my students to relax and stretch out while they work reducing stress and maintaining focus. Chromebooks will allow them to gain a certain level of independence. The joy they would receive with the discovery of a new word or fact would be priceless.
