In order to understand what students grasp, teachers must continually assess. The Kleen Slates are a quick and efficient tool for doing that. The Kleen Slates will help boost engagement, and give a more introverted student a way to show their thinking. They will provide a quick way to formatively assess students on the spot, without the stress on a pencil and paper exam. Using the boards during whole group lessons would allow me to see who needs more support, and to whom I may need to reteach. The boards will increase learning opportunities, while still being a fun tool.
