Having a distraction using their senses, including the tactile sense, can be useful to students. Working with students to regroup and return to productive learning is a desired result. As school is a place for learning, emotional growth is imperative. Many of our students attend school with life stressors out of their control and struggle to cope, as well as finding emotional balance. The liquid tile offers a distraction for students along with fidgets to decompress and offering means for self-expression with modeling dough. Practicing and learning coping skills is a step forward in returning to the learning environment.
