The main reason for asking for help is to provide the students with new technology that helps our program to catch up with neighboring schools and districts. Every item will be used to challenge, inspire, mold, and provide students with experiences that can be carried well until after graduation. The 360fly camera will be used for a project on providing a service or PSA for others. Most will use it for something relating to next year's 6th graders. The accessories will help to insure it's safety. Games are used to solidify finances and business skills, that were previously taught, in a fun way. The Engineering kit will be used in our Engineering unit to test their creativity and skills. VR headset will allow the students to explore parts of the world in ways they may never get to, while also learning. We currently have 1 3D printer for all of my classes, but all filament and printing sheets are currently coming out of my pocket. The Military pennants will be displayed and used to inform students of other possible career paths available to them.
