Students, especially at such a young age enjoy not only the freedom of flexible seating but the comfort and ease it allows. During instruction time, independent reading, and centers are all times that flexible seating can be used in our classroom to benefit the students. In the stimulating world we live in today, students cannot mentally sit in the same chair for 8 hours a day. The flexible seating includes both bouncing chairs and fidget bands and allows students to stimulate their sense of touch which leads to better focus and processing. Students can not only focus better with flexible seating, it is proven to be healthier in student development.

About my class
