The students in my class would be elated to have these seating options available to them! Even though my students are in 4th grade, they have wiggly bodies and a need to move. A lot of times, and for most of my students, the ability to move a little allows them to stay focused and on task for longer periods of time. The rocker chairs and wobble stools would allow them to move their bodies while continuing to work. I also have a lot of students who just like to work somewhere other than their desk, which is where the portable lap desks come into play! This allows them to sit in a spot around the room where they feel successful and still have a hard surface to write on with proper posture. I like to arrange my desks into pods and that poses problems especially during test taking times. I would love the privacy shields so that students can feel like they are in their own little "office" space when working on tests or important independent projects. It is easy to get distracted by someone sitting next to you or across from you, and these barriers would provide the perfect solution.
