If you choose to donate to this project, you will be helping transform the art classroom for these students. The current shelving unit in the room is very old, and does not have much space to store items. The classroom is older, and although we have worked on it, the classroom is missing that comforting feeling. With these new items, the students will be able to have a more comfortable and relaxed environment to work in. The light covers and fidget bands will definitely be the students' favorite addition! As a "specials" teacher, I get to spend time with every child in the school, and I pay close attention to those students who have high needs. The new shelving unit will display the books and magazines students are able to pull out during class for inspiration. The classroom is also somewhat small, and we do not have any designated area for the artwork to dry once painted. The drying rack would be such a wonderful thing to have! I just want my students to appreciate their classroom, and to be comfortable while they are creating masterpieces!
